Journey Of Soul

At the time of death you feel like that you are forcibly departed from your body. You come out of your body. You feel like that you are standing out of your body. There remains a sense of the same body that one has hands, legs etc. all body parts but it's only the consciousness part.

You do not understand why certain things are different as you are present at the same place but why your near and dear ones are not talking to you. Why are they not able to hear you.

After certain time you feel like that you are moving higher and you start looking at the place you have lived from a certain height and that height keeps on increasing and then suddenly complete darkness.

It is the same experience that you get if you are in a movie hall and the movie screen goes blank, the complete movie hall goes dark. You still feel like that you are sitting in the hall.

It is the same state as we are in meditation. How meditation helps is that since you have already experienced such situations while meditating that you do not feel fear. You feel it like a regular experience it's not new, you have gone through these things a number of times.

Once it goes dark you feel like you are moving. The sense of a body still remains, we can compare the whole situtation as if our eyes are closed and we are seeing everything what's happening around like if we are sitting in a completely dark room and again we know that we are there in the room. We don't have to see ourself or other things.

At this time we feel like as if we are traveling with high speed, we do not feel the air due to our speed but still we experience speed. In between we also see lights come and go. When I say see it means seeing with closed eyes.

During the traveling we see things we had enjoyed and we had feared or felt pain in suppose we stop at a place where such an experience is witnessed then the journey breaks.

This journey will keep on continuing if we have detached ourselves from all worldly things, materials, relations etc. and have focused our consciousness on the Naam Simran as only Naam is traveling along us through this journey. There is nothing else. When you say that Naam is traveling with us, it feels like your Guru is there with you helping you throughout and pushing you to move forward and don't stop. When you remain focused and keep continuing your journey then in the last you see light. It feels blissful because we feel like at home. It's the same feeling that we have achieved our goal, the destination of our journey and then you feel to disintegrate to communion with the light and then you are light yourself and you do not exist thereafter. Only light remains.

All this is achieved through meditation and through Naam simran. Naam simran helps you remain focused on your final aim or goal of reaching the light and you do not stop at the problems faced in the journey and you have got the courage to face every obstacle during the journey. Obstacles can be like anything say like passing through fire. We will only pass through fire when we will recite the name of the true lord and with the help of our guru. Guru would have trained us to pass through fire even if we have not done it previously, we will not be feared and will step into the fire thinking that our guru is with us and he will save us. All the time our consciousness is focused on the Naam simran as it is our breath, suppose that Naam simran breath is broken then the journey stops, guru won't be able to help us and we will not be able to cross the hurdles or the obstacles of the journey like traveling through fire. of your consciousness on

This is the whole journey of the soul to reunite with the true lord and only Naam simran and true guru can lead us through that part. The journey becomes easy when we have experienced such things previously while doing meditation as we have rehearsed ourselves.

Jo jan leh khasam ka naao tin k sad baliharye jaao{Page 328}

Meaning - Who take the Name of their Lord and Master, I am forever a sacrifice to those humble beings. ||1||
Why because they are the ones those may get united or are having a chance higher to get united as compared to the ones those do not chant the name of the true Lord sooner with the true lord.

The whole life is a golden chance to get our self trained for the journey after death and to do Naam simran and to have a guru and if we lost our focus then we miss the chance to reunite with the true Lord and the journey remains unfinished. Good Karma will aid us as we have not got into our Karma. Only the completely pure will reunite. All things are one. All your actions in the physical world, your thoughts, words etc. become your consciousness. So if there's a stain left then how can you be allowed to unite with the pure. You have to purify yourself, your thoughts, actions, words, then only the chances of reunion are higher. If one does not reunite then the life and death cycle will keep on continuing and the journey to reunite with the light remains unfinished. There will always be a feeling of pain of being away from our origin/ source.

Why there are no relations because all are just consciousness and all are unfinished journey's to light and why are there are relations because we are living with our near and dear ones we have got moral responsibilities towards our elders and our loved ones. We have to address their needs, we need to fulfill our duties that are dictated to us by the true Lord or else we get failed, we will get stain on our consciousness. We have to help others, empathy needs to be there. These things are have to be our character. Our character also makes our consciousness, so if our character is good then our chances to reunite with the light are good.

The whole journey is very very difficult as a slight loss in concentration may lead us back to square one and the whole journey is a smooth sail and is very very easy if we remain focused on the Name of the true Lord and our Guru is with us. Guru's aid is very much required, without it we cannot complete the journey.

Start meditating and reciting/ contemplating upon the name of the true Lord so that it becomes your only habit and so that we all can be freed from the life and death cycle.
