China should learn from Japan, the Jewel of East, which brought the Quality ethos to the world. Geographically Japan is no match to China but when you scale it on the goods it deliver then China becomes dwarf.

Every nation should try to foster it's own industry hub no matter how small and putting sanctions on Chinese goods especially to below standard goods. If US wants to counter China then it should start looking out how to shift it's allies doing business with China. India is a big market for Chinese goods, if US can convince India in reducing it's trade with China and help India towards indigenisation then China will definitely become weak.

On Chinese side, in order to survive and witness future centuries, it should redefine Quality. Chinese goods are undoubtly front-runner when it comes to price but keeping price low while elevating Quality is the real challenge that China has to focus upon. If Chinese players can introduce better alloys or materials which are not only durable and robust but easy on consumers wallet then no superpower of the world can stop it from ruling sky.
