ना रब्ब अर्श मुअल्ला उत्ते
ना रब्ब खाने काबे - हु
ना रब्ब इल्म किताबी लब्भा
ना रब्ब विच महराबे - हु
गंगा तीरथ मूल ना मिल्या
पैंदे बे-हिसाबे - हु
जद दा मुर्शद मिल्या बाहु
छुट्टे सब अज़ाबे - हु

Neither is God above the highest heaven
nor is God in the Ka’ba - He!
neither was God found in bookish knowledge
nor is God in the mosque’s niche - He!
(even) on pilgrimage to the Ganges,
the source was not found
(despite) going measureless distances - He!
when the Guide was found by Bahu
over were all the torments - He!

Tod de tasbeeh ko is khayal se Faraz
kya gin-gin ke naam lena uska, jo be-hisaab deta hai..

ਔਖੀ ਰਮਜ਼ ਫ਼ਕੀਰੀ ਵਾਲੀ
ਚੜ ਸੂਲੀ ਤੇ ਬਹਿਣਾ
ਦਰ - ਦਰ ਤੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ ਮੰਗਣੇ
ਮਾਈਏ ਭੈਣੇ ਕਹਿਣਾ ..

Aukhi ramaz fakeeri waali
char sooli te behna
dar-dar te tukde mangne
maaiye bhene kehna ..

Details:
It is difficult to acknowledge, understand and follow vast hidden treasures of knowledge in Guru's teachings. One has to keep aside and sacrifice own intellect, experience, skill, smartness and ego. It is not everybody's cup of tea to beg from door to door calling upon mothers and sisters for alms like a fakir does.

Like smoke I vanish though I burn like flame,
I flicker in the gusts of wrong and right
A shining frailty in the guise of might;
Before a nothing and behind a name.
